As you know it was a very trying day with our server being down.  When this office goes through its daily work routine, I never realized just how much my company relies on the server.  Even though my business is Architectural Glass and Glazing, it’s behind the scenes I see that the computer runs the company.  All our accounting software is on the server.  No jobs could be entered or posted while the server was down.  Nothing from our desktop programs on everyone’s individual PC’s could be printed, since the printers were tied to the server.  And of course, no Internet meant no email.  Though we got through our day all right, and business was taken care of, I realized how lucky I was to only have been down one day without a computer.
I have to thank you for making me pay for the same-day service warranty when I purchased the server.  You know I didn’t want to pay the extra money.  You know I gave you a hard time.  But in the end it was a day like today that I was most thankful you pushed me into paying for the same day service warranty. 

In the future when I do purchase new equipment from you and I give you a hard time about the extra money spent on warranty, please remind me of days like today…
